Jason Barry

Role: Team Lead

Bio: Jason Barry is an Incident Responder and Threat Hunter with 6+ years of experience in digital forensics, malware analysis, and purple teaming. Jason is the lead engineer of the Null404 DFIR CTF and holds the GIAC Security Expert (GSE) alongside multiple GIAC certifications.

Donald Eaddy

Role: Malware Author, Red Teamer

Bio: donnie_works is a cyber-dev enthusiast focused on creating custom red-team tooling and developing his reverse-engineering skills. He enjoys co-authoring CTF challenges that emulate real-world threat actors, which lets him learn both sides of the equation, contribute to the community, and help others sharpen their own analysis skills.

Dalton Foster

Role: Range Engineer, Red Teamer

Bio: Experienced security professional with 8 years in technology, including 4 years in security engineering and 2 years in digital forensics and incident response. Skilled in both Windows and Linux environments, and a proven participant in Red and Blue team CTFs. Passionate about hands-on projects and enhancing cyber resilience. Personal interests include snowboarding, Japanese cars, and building Star Wars LEGO sets.

Kevin Rutherford

Role: CEO of Null404, Media Manager

Bio: Security engineer with over 15 years focused on automation, infrastructure and secure architecture. Focus on cloud, infrastructure, and AI/ML. President of Null404 Cyber Security Research, where Kevin spearheads a community dedicated to security workshops on the latest tools, and security research of emerging and disruptive technologies. Lives on a farm with small data center.

Role: Blue Teamer

Bio: Motivated cybersecurity professional with 2+ years’ experience in incident analysis, risk mitigation, and system security. Recently completed Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity and certifications, with strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Seeking to apply and grow expertise in a dynamic security-focused environment.

Gilles Castro

Role: Blue Teamer

Bio: Cybersecurity professional with over five years of experience in designing and facilitating Cybersecurity training, as well as executing vulnerability research. He possesses skills in Cloud Security, Linux, Security Operations, and web technologies.

With prior experience in law and investigations, Gilles brings a unique perspective to cybersecurity, combining legal analysis, compliance expertise, and technical skills. He has also taught and mentored aspiring security professionals through hands-on training and curriculum development, helping bridge the gap between theory and real-world practice.
